The Project Coordinator, Scientific Affairs provides project management and administrative support for research, researcher development, funding, and recognition programs. This role is responsible for coordinating projects and initiatives, tracking resources and budgets, analyzing data, monitoring KPIs, preparing reports and dashboards, and supporting program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate researcher development programs, grant competitions, education initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor and report on program performance, resource utilization, budgets, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and forecasting tools using Excel and Power BI.
- Support budget development, financial tracking, invoice processing, and funding administration.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data to support reporting to senior leadership.
- Provide guidance and support to researchers and staff regarding program processes, funding opportunities, and available resources.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Monday-Friday; 37.5 hours weekly

1. Minimum college diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of Health Care/Academic Research Environment experience
3. Minimum of 3 years of budget and financial reporting experience
4. Certification in project management or business-related disciplines is considered an asset.
5. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
6. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
