The manager coordinates and oversees technical and industrial projects—spanning design, manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning, depending on the project’s nature. They act as a liaison between the client and the engineering team, ensuring projects are completed in compliance with schedules, technical requirements,



budgets, and quality standards.

The role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing and industrial production environments. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and hands-on, with the ability to bridge the gap between engineering concepts and their practical implementation.

External Clients and Partners

- Serve as the point of contact between internal teams and all external partners to coordinate activities and communications;
- Monitor activities involving suppliers, subcontractors, and external partners;
- Identify discrepancies or issues and elevate them when necessary;
- Maintain professional and effective communication.

Project Coordination

- Participate in the planning and execution of engineering, industrial manufacturing, and plant setup projects;
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones;
- Coordinate activities among various internal and external stakeholders;
- Keep project tracking tools, schedules, and action item lists up to date;
- Participate in project meetings and follow up on actions and decisions;
- Collaborate on the preparation of plans and budget estimates;
- Contribute to preparing progress reports and communicating project status;




- Participate in site visits and field surveys;
- Handle inquiries and change requests;
- Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience;
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or a recognized project management certification;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible to practice the profession in Quebec (an asset);
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or equipment fabrication workplace;
- Experience coordinating suppliers or external partners (an asset);
- Good knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, and installation processes;
- Fluency in French (spoken and written);
- Functional knowledge of English for communicating with external partners.
