Title: Project Manager - Data Migration

Location: Remote, Canada

Duration: 04+ Months We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead significant data migration and cloud transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in IT project management, with a focus on data migration and cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 10 years of IT Project or Programme Management experience, with proven leadership of data migration and/or data platform delivery initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience delivering legacy-to-cloud data migrations, including data profiling, data cleansing, source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation, and cutover planning and execution.
- Proven Government of Canada / federal government delivery experience, with knowledge of Protected B, ITSG-33, Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, and federal governance and security requirements.
- Strong fixed-price delivery management experience, including demonstrated control of scope, schedule, risks/issues, financials, formal acceptance, and deliverables.
- Robust technical literacy across cloud, data platforms, and architecture, with the ability to challenge and engage technical teams on architectural decisions and delivery risks.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.




- Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including working with Azure DevOps (ADO) backlogs, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience with additional cloud platforms and data migration tools.
- Understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end data migration and data platform delivery, from discovery and profiling through reconciliation and production cutover.
- Manage fixed-price delivery, ensuring scope, financials, risks, milestones, and formal acceptance remain under control.
- Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders across legacy modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Provide sufficient technical oversight to challenge architecture, migration strategy, and delivery decisions.
- Lead Agile delivery processes and leverage Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management.
- Ensure project execution aligns with Government of Canada security, governance, and compliance requirements.
