This Is An Prospect To Join The Northwest Psychiatry Team Providing Services To Prince Rupert, Terrace, Smithers And Surrounding Communities.

Working In a Community Mental Health Team, The Psychiatrist, In Close Consultation With Family Physicians Will

Provide patient assessments and treatment planning

Provide ongoing patient centered consultation and education to physicians and interdisciplinary mental health teams to advance effective treatment.

Participate in provision of area-based continuum of psychiatric services including assessment of patients in the regional hospital observation unit.

Benefits and Incentives

Vacation Leave 6-8 weeks annually including CME May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 24.50% Retention Flat Fee $37,968 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - 15,000 Recruitment Incentive $20,000 Other Benefits/Incentives Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available: Up to 2 years $1,800; In 3rd & 4th year $4,800; after 4 years $7,800.

Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC.
