The practice prioritizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore sensitive topics and work toward meaningful change in their relationships and overall well-being.

Role Description The Psychotherapist will provide trauma-informed, sex-positive, and relationship-focused psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and partners in a hybrid setting based in Toronto, ON, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering ongoing psychotherapy sessions, and documenting client progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with the clinical team for supervision and case consultation, maintaining ethical, culturally sensitive, and inclusive practice,



and staying current on best practices in sex and relationship therapy.

This is a contract role that requires managing a caseload, maintaining clear communication with clients and the administrative team, and supporting a welcoming, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

- Background in Psychology and Mental Health, with demonstrated ability to provide psychotherapy for a range of emotional and relational concerns.
- Experience in Counseling and Relationship Counseling, including work with couples and diverse relationship structures.
- Knowledge of Medicine and sexual health concepts relevant to sex therapy, and comfort collaborating with medical professionals when needed.
- Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling) and active registration with a regulatory college in Ontario (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW, CPO).
- Specialized training or strong interest in sex therapy, trauma-informed care, and LGBTQ2S+ affirming practice.
- Strong clinical judgment, professional boundaries, and adherence to ethical and legal standards, including confidentiality and record keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create a protected, nonjudgmental, and inclusive therapeutic environment.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and basic digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
