Public Area Attendant – Hotel

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of public areas throughout the hotel.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and can work independently while also being a dependable member of the hotel team.

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairways, washrooms, and other common areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces as required.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers and maintain cleanliness around disposal areas.
- Restock washroom and public-area supplies.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for hotel guests and staff.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous hotel, housekeeping,



or commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and holidays.
- Applicants must currently be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- This position is not available for LMIA or Temporary Foreign Worker sponsorship.
