Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services essential to our manufacturing operations. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our supply chain and production processes.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about supply chain management, skilled in vendor relations, and experienced with ERP systems like SAP to streamline procurement activities.

Duties

- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and specifications.
- Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Manage vendor relationships to maintain reliable supply chains and resolve any issues promptly.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and update procurement records.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials aligned with production schedules.




- Monitor procurement budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Experience

- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP or similar platforms, for managing procurement workflows.
- Familiarity with vendor management practices and negotiation techniques to secure favorable terms.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with suppliers.
- Ability to analyze pricing data, manage sourcing projects, and adapt strategies based on market conditions.
