Summary:

Location: Montreal

Work Mode: Hybrid (day 1 onboarding onsite/in-office presence required 3x/week)

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain production-grade data processing pipelines using Python.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Build service endpoints and asynchronous processing systems using the FastAPI framework.
- Collaborate with the PANDQ team to ensure data quality and consistency across applications.
- Utilize version control tools for code management.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.

Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Good knowledge of database concepts and query optimization.
- Working knowledge of Unix systems.
- Experience with version control tools, preferably Git.




- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in Agile Squads.
- Finance data domain knowledge.
- Understanding of model performance monitoring, debugging, and logging systems within AI applications.
- Experience with containerization and deployment of ML services in enterprise environments.
- Experience with anomaly detection algorithms and techniques, such as isolation forest, clustering, time series analysis, and pattern mining.
- Expertise in designing and deploying generative AI solutions using LLMs and multimodal models.
- Proficiency in pandas and familiarity with scikit-learn for data manipulation and machine learning model implementation.
