The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading North Arc’s Quality Management System and Quality Control function, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.

The role is primarily focused on Supply Chain Quality and Quality support for our expanding internal manufacturing operations, with additional responsibility for Engineering through the lens of New Product Introduction The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the Quality team with ownership and accountability and drive supplier performance, incoming quality, in-process manufacturing controls, corrective action, risk reduction, and continuous improvement as North Arc continues to grow its in-house manufacturing capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Quality

- Own supplier qualification, monitoring, audits, and supplier quality performance.
- Lead supplier NCRs, corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and timely closure.
- Establish risk-based incoming inspection requirements (PFMEA) and supplier quality KPIs through score cards and audits suppliers/vendors when required
- Support supplier PPAP, develop new suppliers, second-source qualification, and ensure purchased components meet requirements.

Production Quality
- Lead and develop the Quality Control team to support a growing internal manufacturing operation.
- Own incoming, in-process, and final inspection systems that scale with increasing in-house production.
- Own NCR, containment, root-cause, corrective-action, and verification-of-effectiveness processes.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve process controls, traceability,



calibration, and reduce defects, scrap, rework, and variation.
- Establish and sustain critical quality KPI and support internal/external audits as per ISO9001 procedures

Engineering & Current Product Introduction
- Represent Quality during product development, design reviews, Engineering Changes, and NPI.
- Ensure drawings, CTQs, inspection requirements, and acceptance criteria are clearly defined before release.
- Support PPAP, FMEA risk reduction activities, Control Plans, First Article Inspection, Gauge R&R;/MSA, SPC capability studies, and manufacturing validation through production trial runs (PTR)
- Ensure manufacturing readiness before release and feed supplier, production, read across and customer lessons learned back into product and process development.

Qualifications

- Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical degree/diploma.
- 7+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility, accountability and effective communication with all departments
- Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 or higher, ASQ, QMS ownership, NCR/CAPA, auditing, supplier quality and PDCA continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of GD&T;, engineering drawings, metrology, must have hands-on experience with subtractive manufacturing processes in a precision manufacturing environment.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
