Don't wait any longer, come be part of a Quebec success story.Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, the Quality Manager coordinates and oversees all quality-related activities for both plants - the Granby plant and the Sainte-Sabine plant- while maintaining close collaboration with the Production department and the company's various other departments.

Profile required

Independence, a methodical approach, resourcefulness, leadership, and availability. Ability to work under pressure, motivate teams, and travel between the two plants as needed.

- Coordinate, supervise and audit production quality activities at both plants, located in Granby and Sainte-Sabine;
- Analyze production operations, identify quality issues and develop action plans in collaboration with the relevant teams, monitor their implementation through completion and ensure that results are maintained;
- Act as a resource person for all quality-related matters, analyze critical cases and propose appropriate solutions;
- Provide technical support to production lines to guide decision-making regarding material quality;




- Support and train new employees on quality matters, and contribute to the employee evaluation process in this regard;
- Participate in technical projects and contribute to the execution, support and documentation of technical testing;
- Recommend improvements aimed at continuously optimizing quality;
- Provide cross-functional support to other departments within the company;
- Prepare reports for management and participate in meetings;
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that equipment is maintained properly and efficiently;
- Perform any other duties directly related to the position.

Prerequisites

- College diploma (DEC) in industrial engineering or quality management;
- Minimum of five (5) years of quality assurance experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Experience in inspection and quality control within a manufacturing workplace;
- Experience in process improvement within a similar industry;
- Knowledge of applicable quality standards, including ISO and AS9100 standards;
- Knowledge of the construction and cabinetry industries (an asset);
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
