Re-Insurance Accountant - P&C;

Contract : 6 months

Rate : $36-42/hr

Hybrid : 3-4x in office, Toronto

Required Skills & Experience

- At least 2 years of experience in re-insurance accounting
- Specifically needs experience in P&C; (property and casualty) rather than L&H; (life and health)
- Accounting knowledge and experience - ie. reconciliations and/or bookkeeping
- Advanced MS Office skills (focus on MS Excel, Power Query)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CPA (pursuing)

The Contracts Specialist - Insurance P&C; oversees the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts, from establishing and maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and manage the related cash flow. He/she also supports the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
