Registered Dental Assistant

Signature Dentistry – Lethbridge, Alberta

Part-time | Wednesday to Friday

Signature Dentistry is looking for a positive, dependable and team-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our practice Wednesday through Friday.

This is a clinical position focused on chairside assisting and sterilization. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates well and enjoys contributing to an organized, efficient and supportive clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

- Provide chairside assistance for general dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist with room turnover
- Process and sterilize instruments according to current infection prevention and control requirements
- Maintain sterilization records and monitor sterilization equipment
- Restock clinical supplies and communicate inventory needs
- Assist with laundry and general clinical organization
- Help hygienists with room turnover when needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Support fellow team members and contribute positively to the workplace

Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant in good standing in Alberta
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of current infection prevention and control requirements
- Solid communication, organization and time-management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively




- Ability to move comfortably between chairside and sterilization responsibilities
- Dental assisting experience is preferred; however, we are willing to consider a motivated candidate who is the right fit for our team
- Experience with Curve Dental or digital dentistry is an asset but not required

Schedule
- Wednesday to Friday
- Daytime hours
- Occasional additional clinical shifts may be available depending on practice needs and the candidate’s availability

Compensation Competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
