We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) to join our team. What You'll Do

As an RECE at Gold Circle, you will work collaboratively with fellow educators to provide high-quality care and programming while supporting the individual needs, interests, development, and well-being of the children in your care.

Your responsibilities will include

- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Observe children's interests, development, and emerging skills and use these observations to support programming.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and communication development.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate with families regarding children's experiences, routines, development, and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with RECEs, ECAs, supervisors, and other members of the child care team.
- Maintain active supervision and required staff-to-child ratios.
- Support children's daily routines, including meals, transitions, outdoor play, toileting, rest periods, and arrival/dismissal.
- Complete required documentation, attendance records, program documentation, and classroom records accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Follow Gold Circle's policies, procedures,



health and safety practices, and emergency procedures.
- Follow requirements under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA) and applicable Ministry of Education requirements.
- Incorporate the principles of How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years into everyday practice.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, training, special events, and centre initiatives.
- Provide classroom or program coverage as required to support the needs of the centre.

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will have

- An Early Childhood Education diploma or recognized equivalent.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.
- Knowledge of the CCEYA and How Does Learning Happen?
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- A professional, dependable, patient, and caring approach to working with children.
- The ability to adapt to the changing needs of a busy child care environment.





Required Documentation

Successful candidates will be required to provide and maintain all documentation required for employment in a licensed child care setting, including:

- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Required health and immunization documentation.
- Proof of education.
- Proof of current College of Early Childhood Educators registration and good standing.
- Any additional documentation required by Gold Circle or applicable child care regulations.
