- Mill Valley Child Care Centre is hiring a RECE to work a split shift in a before and after school program. The hours are 11:45-1:45 & 3:00-6:00. Full time availability possible on PA days, March Break, Winter Break and Summer holidays

You must be registered with the College of ECE

:

- Facilitate and guide children's development and learning through small and large group and individual centered activities following the approved curriculum

- Continually assess the well being of the children in the program

- Guide children's behaviour in a positive manner and at a level that is appropriate to their actions and their ages in order to promote self discipline, ensure health and safety and respect the right of others

- Ensure that all facilities, supplies and equipment are kept clean,



safe and free of hazards

- Set up and put away all equipment used during the course of the program, keeping everything tidy

- Follow cleaning guidelines

Qualifications

- Registered RECE (in valuable standing)

- Clear Criminal Reference check

- Up-to-date Medical and Immunization

- Up-to-date Standard First Aid & CPR AED +C

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
