Overview

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Kinesiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients across diverse clinical settings. Your expertise will help improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well-being for individuals of all ages.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical capabilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions focused on injury prevention, pain management, and functional recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMRs) for all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Administer medication as prescribed within scope of practice and ensure proper documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and home exercise programs to foster long-term health benefits.




- Utilize advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to document sessions and prepare reports efficiently.

Experience

- Valid registration as a Kinesiologist with BCAK.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with acute care environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical records systems and computer operation skills.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, and acute care contexts.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or working with diverse patient populations is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols within a clinical setting is advantageous.
