Duties

- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to each client’s needs using various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage.
- Assess clients’ health history and discuss their wellness goals to develop customized treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, benefits, and aftercare recommendations.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress for future reference.
- Promote wellness services and educate clients on self-care practices to enhance their overall health.




- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care.

Requirements

- Valid registration and licensing as a Massage Therapist from the appropriate regulatory body.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy.
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly and listen attentively to client concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to hygiene standards at all times.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
- Must be committed to ongoing learning and staying current with industry best practices.
