Purpose of this position:

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be a key component in client wellness through therapeutic massage techniques, which is essential to the overall spa experience. Reporting to the Spa Manager, your role involves assessing guest needs and providing tailored treatments to enhance physical and emotional well-being.



Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for building rapport and ensuring a positive experience for spa guests.

Job Summary:

- Full time, permanent positions available
- Part-time permanent positions available
- Wage: $40.00 Starting wage for 1 year’s experience. $50 starting wage for weekends. Additional wage incentives to additional modalities. Wages are further evaluated regularly to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive with the external market.

Responsibilities:

- Collect clients from guest waiting room, validate guest details/preferences, and provide information about their treatment.
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, assessing their needs and preferences.
- Utilize medical terminology to document client conditions and treatment plans accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns.
- Demonstrate consistent professional conduct, including monitoring for appropriate language and topics of discussion during treatments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures and aftercare instructions.

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Massage Therapist certification required
- 1 year’s experience required
- Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Work Permit required
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a comfortable and safe environment for clients
- Knowledge of various massage techniques and their applications
