STAX Sports Therapy is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a Registered Massage Therapist to our team. This role is perfect for new grads, while also appealing to experienced therapists who value collaboration and a supportive clinic culture.

We operate out of two fitness-based clinics in Richmond Hill (354 Newkirk Rd.) and North York (900 Don Mills Rd.), serving an active, motivated client base of gym members, athletes, and the surrounding community. Our partnerships with local sports teams create steady demand and diverse treatment opportunities.

We’re known for our hands-on, manual therapy–focused approach, friendly atmosphere, and team-first mindset. Clients enter through the gym, creating an energetic and engaging work environment.

Duties

- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques tailored to individual client needs
- Assess client conditions and discuss their wellness goals to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress in accordance with privacy regulations




- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend additional therapies or wellness practices as appropriate
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, hygiene, and confidentiality at all times
- Stay informed about new massage techniques, industry standards, and continuing education opportunities

Experience

- Prior experience in massage therapy or related health and wellness fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment documentation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients
- Strong communication skills are essential for explaining treatment procedures, answering questions, and building rapport with clients
- Certification or licensing as a Massage Therapist is required in accordance with provincial regulations
