Support community wellbeing as a Community Health Nurse for the ‘Na̱mg̱is First Nation in Alert Bay. Focus on disease prevention and health education across various settings. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to serve at the ‘Namgis Health Centre and Cormorant Island Hospital.

In this role, you will be actively involved in health promotion activities, provide one-on-one and group care, and work with a team to implement effective health services. Flexibility and a commitment to community health among diverse populations are essential. Key Responsibilities:

- Organize and implement disease prevention initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for effective outreach
- Maintain health documentation in compliance with standards
- Provide educational workshops and clinics on health
- Address community health needs through planned home visits Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited university
- Current College of Registered Nurses of BC License
- Communicable Disease Control Certification
- Valid BC driver’s license required
