Seeking a part time or full time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT ) for a one veterinarian, non corporate clinic in Okotoks. Flexible scheduling is possible also. The candidate must be registered with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association as an RVT.

You could be a new grad or someone who is happy to switch gears further in their career. Here you could use your skills, work in a positive environment and have a great work-life balance (aka leave on time/no after hours) in a small animal practice in Okotoks.

We have in house labs, digital dental radiography, digital x-rays. Our clients are easy going and appreciative and we believe in a great team environment that involves laughter on a regular basis!

Duties would involve assisting with patient restraint and treatment for surgery and medicine. Collecting laboratory samples and running labs would also be part of this position. Monitoring anesthesia and post operative education would be vital roles.



Giving injections for client pets and treatment appointments are also a daily part of the job. Communication with clients by phone and keeping up to date medical records would be required also.
