Situated just 15 minutes from Dartmouth, we offer the charm of East Coast living near the ocean with an easy commute from anywhere in HRM.Exceptional Work-Life Balance: No on-call, no overnights, no Sundays, and no holiday shifts (supported by nearby 24/7 emergency referral clinics!).Supportive Culture: A tight-knit, collaborative team dedicated to positive clinic culture, mutual support, and exceptional patient care.What You Will DoClinical & Surgical Assistance: Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, surgeries, and medical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, recovery, pain management, and surgical and dental procedures.

Comprehensive Patient Care: Place and maintain IV catheters and administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed. Collect and process blood, urine, cytology, and other laboratory samples.

Education & Compassionate Support: Educate and communicate with clients on medications, treatments, nutrition, preventive care, and at-home patient care.

Medical Records:



Maintain accurate patient files, medical logs, and inventory.

Team Collaboration: Work with team members to deliver an exceptional patient and client experience.

Team Training: Support, train and mentor new graduates, including Veterinary Assistants.

What You Bring: Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program (RVT or RVT-eligible) with strong clinical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, IV catheterization, venipuncture, and low-stress handling. You bring robust interpersonal skills, adaptability, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a drive for continuous learning.
