The Role

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Relief Value Stream Leader plays a key leadership role within the Operations team. This position is responsible for overseeing and supporting a production value stream to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.

This hands-on role combines the responsibilities of a Production Supervisor and Team Lead, providing both strategic direction and on-the-floor leadership. Acting as a bridge between frontline employees and management, the Value Stream Leader ensures daily operations run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with Ganong’s operational excellence goals.

Who You Are

You are a confident, hands-on production leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You lead by example on the floor, ensuring your team works safely, efficiently, and with pride in every product they create.





You balance strong communication and people skills with a data-driven mindset, using tools such as Redzone and ERP (Sage) to track performance, identify issues, and drive results. You value teamwork and take a coaching approach to leadership—providing clear direction, mentoring employees, and fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and inclusion.

With a solid focus on quality and continuous improvement, you proactively address safety or process concerns, collaborate across departments to remove barriers, and champion operational excellence on every shift you lead.

Qualifications

- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety, and quality standards
- Skilled in Redzone; experience withSage X3 ERPconsidered anasset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop teammembers
- Must be legally eligible to work inCanada
