About The Role We are seeking a Data Analyst II to own recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis for an assigned manufacturer program or internal domain, becoming the person who knows that program's enrollment funnel, payer quirks, fulfillment path, and data sources deeply. This position plays a key role in supporting the Data & Analytics department and reports to the Manager, Analytics & Reporting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.

Depth in one program or domain is prioritized over broad but shallow knowledge across multiple areas, especially in the first year. This role has no direct reports and offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented analyst to make a significant impact by providing insights that drive decision-making and operational improvements.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education, experience, and skills to succeed in this role:

- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; demonstrated capability and experience are valued equally.
- Experience: Typically 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, with proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to interpret vague questions, sharpen them into answerable queries, and communicate findings clearly. Strong validation skills,



including comparing data sources and understanding discrepancies. Comfortable explaining complex findings in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders. Experience writing complex SQL queries, including window functions and careful aggregation, with a focus on understanding data grain. Curiosity about healthcare and pharmacy operations, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Nice to Have: Experience with pharmacy, claims, or payer data; familiarity with dbt, Looker or LookML, Snowflake, Python, or external client reporting.

Responsibilities

- Own and develop a deep understanding of one manufacturer program or internal domain, including its enrollment funnel, payer quirks, fulfillment path, and data sources.
- Manage recurring reports scheduled weekly and monthly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support daily data feeds by reviewing numbers, investigating anomalies, and raising issues proactively.
- Respond to ad hoc questions with a clear understanding of claim adjudication, prior authorization, prescription status, and fulfillment records. Provide answers with confidence and document assumptions and caveats.
- Define and document metric definitions, ensuring consistency across reporting and clarity for future reference.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker, with ongoing support for client-facing reports and migration from Domo. When logic belongs in the data warehouse,



submit dbt model requests for proper transformation.
- Handle Protected Health Information (PHI) carefully, adhering to HIPAA and data privacy standards. Use the minimum necessary access and seek approval before moving patient-level data to new locations.
- Collaborate regularly with account, operations teams, and manufacturer contacts. Spend time on the distribution center floor and call center to gain operational insights and ensure data aligns with real-world processes.
