RENOVATION SPECIALIST / SKILLED TRADESPERSON

HAFI Contracting Group is a growing residential and commercial renovation company serving Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and surrounding communities. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Renovation Specialist who can work independently and as part of a team on a variety of renovation and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of renovation and finishing projects, including:

- Tiling: Floor and wall tile installation, backsplashes, shower systems, waterproofing and grouting
- Demolition: Selective demolition, removal of drywall, flooring, cabinets, fixtures and other materials
- Cabinetry: Cabinet installation, adjustments, hardware installation, trim and finishing
- Framing: Wood framing, partition walls, bulkheads, soffits and general framing
- Drywall: Installation, repairs, taping, mudding and finishing
- Flooring: Laminate, vinyl plank, engineered hardwood and other flooring installations
- Finish Carpentry: Baseboards, casing, crown moulding, door trim and other finish work
- Renovations: Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and general residential renovations
- Painting: Interior preparation and painting as required
- Assist with general construction tasks and maintain a clean, organized and safe worksite
- Read and follow drawings, measurements and project specifications
- Complete work to a high standard of quality and workmanship

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on renovation/construction experience preferred




- Strong skills in several of the following areas:
- - Tiling,- Cabinetry- Framing- Flooring- Finish carpentry- Drywall- Demolition- General renovations

- Ability to measure accurately and work from drawings or specifications
- Good understanding of construction materials, tools and installation methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation is an assetWhat We Offer
