We are seeking a reliable and skilled Residential Maintenance Worker for an initial three-month contract to support the ongoing upkeep, maintenance, and safety of our residential property. This temporary position is being offered to provide coverage during an employee’s leave and may be extended depending on the employee’s anticipated return date.

The role includes regular maintenance duties, as well as on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Perform routine mechanical and systems checks throughout the property.
- Complete monthly building maintenance work orders in a timely and productive manner.
- Respond to and resolve general maintenance requests, including plumbing repairs, leaks, lighting replacements, and other common issues.
- Conduct regular pool and spa inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Prepare vacant units for new occupancy, including repairs, and general unit turnover tasks.
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal and de-icing of walkways and entrances during winter months.
- Be available for on-call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours (emergencies only).
- Open and close the building as required during on-call shifts.




- Complete monthly inspections and testing of fire safety systems and elevators, maintaining logs and reports as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and property regulations.

Requirements: · Must have clean criminal record check

· Must provide own steel toe boots or shoes

· High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience in this field

· Ability to perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs

· Experience with heating and cooling systems

· Experience with pool and hot tub maintenance and testing

· Good communications skills

· Ability to read/write and speak English. Bilingualism as asset but not required

· Light to medium duty work required, lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Working knowledge of multi-residential building systems & equipment
- General mechanical skills
