Responsibilities

- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and productive workflow across all departments
- Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage merchandising displays, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to maximize sales potential
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Conduct staff recruiting, training, onboarding, and ongoing development to build a high-performing team
- Monitor cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and payroll processing with accuracy
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Maintain organized records of sales transactions, bookkeeping entries, and administrative documentation
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems effectively for sales processing and inventory management




- Assist in budgeting efforts by tracking expenses and optimizing store resources
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times

Experience

- Proven supervising or managerial experience within a retail environment is essential
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management practices
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processes
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to communicate fluently in bilingual or multilingual settings preferred
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems, pricing strategies, purchasing procedures, and marketing techniques is advantageous
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of retail management software or administrative tools will be considered an asset
