Scope:

- The Clients - Digital Design Branch requires one (1) Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 5+ years experience for building a modern digital information system and its integration with other internal and external applications.

Assignment Deliverables:

- The Clients - Digital Design Branch requires one (1) Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 5+ years experience for building a modern digital information system and it’s integration with other internal and external applications.
- Prepare appropriate level test cases for functional / unit testing
- Perform functional / unit testing and document results
- Assist other parties groups with their related testing activities (UAT)

- Participate in Knowledge transfer

Must Haves:

Quality Assurance Skills:

- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a team-oriented tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants.
- Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions

Technical Skills:

- Hands on experiences with technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana

- Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions
- Good analytical, communication skills and ability to work independently and also perform as part of a team.

- Hands on experiences with technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript
- Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana.

QA Skills:

- Demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change request and to communicate status of these to all project participants.

Technical Skills:

- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana.

Business Skills:

- Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete

Public Sector Experience:

- Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
