Sales Associate – Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

VanCasa Building Supplies is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Sales Associate to help grow our Calgary operation.

This position is designed for a salesperson who wants their income to reflect their performance. We offer a $40,000 base salary plus 2% commission on all sales personally generated, with no commission cap.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building business—not simply waiting for customers to walk through the door. You will be expected to develop your own customer base, pursue new opportunities, build long-term relationships, follow up consistently, and turn leads into sales.

What You'll Be Selling

VanCasa supplies a wide range of building materials, including:

- Metal, aluminum, composite and vinyl fencing
- Artificial turf
- Metal roofing
- Flooring and tile
- Forming plywood and construction materials
- Other residential and commercial building products

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is sales-driven, competitive and entrepreneurial. You should be comfortable with a performance-oriented environment where successful salespeople are rewarded for the business they create.

Previous experience in building materials, construction supplies, fencing, roofing, landscaping, flooring, wholesale distribution or B2B sales is strongly preferred.

You should be comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, visiting potential customers, developing contractor and builder accounts, preparing quotations, following up on leads,



negotiating and closing sales.

Compensation

Base Salary: $40,000/year

Commission: 2% of all qualifying sales personally generated

Commission is uncapped For example, an employee personally generating $1,000,000 in qualifying annual sales would earn $20,000 in commission, in addition to the $40,000 base salary, subject to the company's written commission policy.

Your Responsibilities

You will develop new contractor, builder, landscaper, developer and commercial accounts; maintain and grow customer relationships; respond to inquiries and prepare quotations; actively prospect by phone, email and in person; follow up on quotations and leads; learn VanCasa's product lines; identify new opportunities in the Calgary market; and work with management to grow our Alberta business.
