Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Specialist role based in Ottawa, ON.

The Sales

Specialist will engage customers in-store to understand their wireless and mobility needs, present product and service options, and recommend solutions that align with Bell’s offerings. Daily responsibilities include providing personalized customer service, processing sales transactions, activating and upgrading devices, and ensuring accurate account and contract information. The role involves maintaining product knowledge on current devices, plans, and promotions, participating in merchandising and store presentation, and contributing to individual and team sales targets.

Specialist will also collaborate with colleagues and management, support new product launches, and assist in training team members on new tools and services as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and team members.
- Customer Service skills focused on creating positive in-store experiences, handling inquiries, and resolving issues professionally.
- Sales skills with proven ability to identify needs, recommend solutions, close sales, and meet or exceed performance targets.
- Training skills to support onboarding of new team members and ongoing knowledge sharing within the store.
- Sales Management-related skills such as basic understanding of KPIs, pipeline awareness, and support for store-level sales initiatives.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to use point-of-sale systems and basic digital tools; familiarity with wireless products and services is an asset.
- Previous retail or telecom experience is an advantage; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education considered an asset.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required for retail operations.
