SANDER / Cabinet Shop

We are a medium sized busy custom cabinet shop requiring a Monday - Friday full time employee for the finishing department.

Requirements

- Can legally work in Canada
- Keen attention to detail
- Comfortable with repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Must be fluent in English or Spanish.

We are looking for a team player, someone who works well with people and can take direction but is also independent and knowledgeable enough to work by themselves when need be. Candidate must be organized, easy approachable and in good health. Job requires some lifting.

Important PPE Requirement:

This position requires the mandatory use of a full-face respirator or half-mask respirator while performing sanding work.



Employees who choose to wear a half-mask respirator must be clean-shaven in the areas where the respirator seals against the face to ensure a proper and safe fit. This PPE requirement is a condition of performing the sanding duties.

You will be responsible for:

- Sanding and preparing parts of various types of materials like MDF, Veneers ect by hand and orbital sander
- Wrapping finished parts for shipping and quality control
- Keeping a clean and protected work environment
