Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblaster to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal and other surfaces through abrasive blasting techniques to ensure high-quality finishes and optimal surface adhesion for subsequent coating or assembly processes. . The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently to clean, prepare, or finish surfaces according to project specifications.
- Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to verify cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators,



gloves, and eye protection.
- Assist with material handling using cranes or forklifts when necessary to move heavy components or supplies.

Skills

- Familiarity with crane operation and forklift certification is preferred for effective material handling.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment.
