Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, ensuring correct change and balanced registers at shift end
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations




- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout your shift

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to develop your skills is essential
