Our mining client is seeking a SAP Training Lead to lead SAP training strategy, delivery, and adoption programs using SAP business processes and instructional design

Join a large-scale SAP transformation initiative within the energy and resources sector supporting enterprise-wide training and system adoption. This role leads the design, development, and delivery of SAP training programs across implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives while partnering with SAP functional teams, project leadership, and change management stakeholders. The position includes ownership of training strategy, curriculum development, training delivery, and training effectiveness measurement across geographically dispersed teams.

12 month Contract, high chance of extension, 3 days a week onsite in Vancouver, Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week PST

Must Haves

- 10+ years in SAP training, organizational change, learning and development, or SAP implementation programs
- SAP implementations, upgrades, or transformation program support
- Instructional design and development of role-based training programs
- SAP business processes collaboration with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent qualified experience

Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Experience with SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or HCM
- Experience with SAP Enable Now, SAP Learning Hub, or digital learning platforms
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
- Prosci or other change management certification

Responsibilities




- Develop and execute SAP training strategies aligned with project objectives and business requirements
- Lead the development and review of SAP training materials including instructor-led training, e-learning, simulations, and job aids
- Coordinate instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on SAP training sessions
- Manage training milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource requirements
- Partner with SAP functional leads, project managers, business process owners, and change management teams
- Establish metrics to measure training completion, learner engagement, knowledge retention, and SAP adoption
- Support end-user training during deployment, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities
