Job Title: Professors (Part-Time) - Small Engine Apprenticeship (Level 1)

Department: School of Trades and Technology – Motive Power Program

Location: Commerce Court Campus – North Bay, ON

Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 - December 18, 2026 (8 weeks)

Qualifications:

- Certificate of Qualification in Small Engine Mechanic required
- Minimum three years of recent industry experience
- Experience teaching or mentoring apprentices is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills
- Previous teaching experience will be considered an asset
- Must be able to reliably commute to the Commerce Court Campus in North Bay, ON required

Responsibilities:

- Teach the curriculum for the eight-week block release for Level 1 Small Engine apprenticeship program




- Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
- Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning workplace including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
