Duties

- Prepare seafood by cleaning, filleting, and portioning according to product specifications
- Operate food processing machinery safely and efficiently, including grinders, slicers, and packaging equipment
- Ensure all products are handled in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Package seafood products accurately for shipment, maintaining proper labeling and documentation
- Conduct quality checks throughout the processing stages to identify defects or contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment




- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and recording product quantities

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food processing, meat cutting, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of packaging techniques and manufacturing processes is advantageous
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for operating processing equipment safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
