Purpose of the Role The Seasonal Market Sales Associate supports CONVIVIAL’s in-person market operations. Since markets are one of CONVIVIAL’s primary sales channels, the role focuses on providing customer service, completing sales, maintaining product displays, and assisting with setup and operation of market booths.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
- Explain CONVIVIAL products, pricing, sizing, and available options.
- Process customer transactions using Square POS.
- Maintain organized and visually appealing product displays throughout the market.
- Restock products as inventory is sold.
- Assist with booth setup and teardown before and after markets.
- Monitor products and equipment during events.
- Communicate customer feedback, inventory issues, and other market-related information to the Market Lead or Founder.

Knowledge

- Basic understanding of retail sales and customer service.




- Product knowledge can be learned through CONVIVIAL’s onboarding and training process.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an asset.

Qualifications Previous retail, sales, customer service, or market experience is preferred but not required. No specific post-secondary education is required. CONVIVIAL will provide training on products, Square POS, booth procedures, and company expectations.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
