Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activities and detect suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity using CCTV systems for monitoring large areas
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to identify and prevent theft or damage
- Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergency situations
Pay: $18.25 per hour
