WGM Engineering, part of RSK Group, is looking for a Semi Skilled Engineer to join our Electrical and Mechanical ( E&M;) Services team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will be based on-site at various private clients and Scottish Water sites

. You will support project delivery across WGM’s growing UK water-sector portfolio. This is a business-critical opportunity to join a growing engineering business delivering essential infrastructure across the UK.

As a Semi Skilled Engineer you will assist our Mechanical Engineers in delivering mechanical maintenance, refurbishment and new installation works including testing & pre-commissioning activities within the E&M; business stream.

To support you in the role, you’ll be provided with a company van and fuel card, with a working pattern of 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, and 7.30am to 1.00pm on Fridays.

Job Responsibilities In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

- Maintaining, repairing and installing mechanical equipment for various private clients and Scottish Water sites.
- Assist with fault-finding and rectifying problems on a variety of mechanical equipment.
- Proactively assist works with strict adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Minimum Requirements We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- CSCS card
- First Aid Trained
- Confined Space Trained
- DOMS & Water hygiene card
- Knowledge of safe systems of work
- Sound knowledge of current regulations and WIMES specifications
- Valid Full UK driving licence is essential

Qualifications And Desirable Experience The following would be helpful, but is not essential:

- Experience within the UK water/waste water sector

Salary And Benefits We are offering a rate of £16.51 per hour (circa £32,194 per annum salary), depending on experience.
