Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is ideal for a strong full-cycle accounting professional who has solid month-end experience and can also support or contribute to an ERP implementation/project.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end and year-end close
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
- Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and supporting schedules
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting requirements
- Support the accounting team with process improvements and reporting initiatives
- Participate in or provide accounting support for an ERP implementation
- Assist with testing, data validation, process mapping, and system-related accounting activities




- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Requirements

- 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- CPA/CA designation or currently pursuing CPA
- Robust experience with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting an ERP implementation or system migration
- Experience with process improvement and accounting system implementations
