As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will play a key role in the Group’s Canadian tax compliance and tax accounting activities. You will also contribute to matters related to clean technology tax credits, tax audits, and the tax requirements arising from Boralex’s continued growth. The role is primarily focused on tax compliance and tax accounting, while also offering the opportunity to gradually expand your exposure to broader corporate tax matters and strategic business projects as your expertise develops.

You will play an important role in:

Tax Accounting &

- Compliance Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with IFRS;

Analyze current and deferred income taxes and prepare supporting documentation for audit purposes;

Prepare and review Canadian corporate and partnership income tax returns, as well as related information returns;

Prepare tax models, current tax calculations, and short- and long-term tax projections. Tax Credits &

- Government Incentives Support the analysis, documentation, and filing of investment tax credits, including clean technology tax credits;

Monitor compliance requirements and supporting documentation related to applicable tax incentive programs. Tax Audits &

- Risk Management Prepare and coordinate information requested by tax authorities during audits;

Assist in documenting tax positions and identifying key tax risks.

Business Support

Support internal business teams on matters related to corporate income taxes, direct taxes, and property taxes;

Conduct tax research and provide transparent, practical, and well-supported analyses.

Continuous

Improvement &

- Development Contribute to the improvement of tax processes, controls, and tools,



including automation and enhanced data utilization;

Stay informed of tax legislation and regulatory developments;

Support knowledge sharing and training initiatives for internal stakeholders.

Progressive

Exposure to Corporate Projects Support the tax team, as needed, in analyzing issues related to development, financing, investment, and restructuring projects;

Gradually expand your involvement in corporate tax matters and strategic initiatives as your responsibilities evolve. To succeed in this position, you need: CPA designation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

Master’s degree in Taxation or completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program;

Minimum of five years of relevant tax experience gained in public practice and/or industry;

Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate taxation;

Experience in tax accounting, or a demonstrated desire to deepen expertise in this area;

Strong analytical, research, and writing skills;

Advanced Excel skills and an interest in automation and process improvement;

Professional proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken, to collaborate with teams and partners across Canada and internationally.
