Our client, a leading organization in Downtown Toronto , is seeking a Senior Consultant – Finance/Accounting to join their team on a 5-month contract in Downtown, Toronto.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong month-end reporting, consolidation, and ERP implementation experience to support an important transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support month-end and year-end financial reporting and close activities
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
- Support financial consolidation , including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments
- Participate in a major ERP implementation , including data validation, process mapping, testing, and implementation activities
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances, discrepancies, and unusual trends
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packages
- Work closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders throughout the ERP implementation
- Assist with process improvements, accounting policies, controls, and reporting enhancements
- Prepare documentation and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting requirements




- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members as required

Qualifications

- CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification is preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Solid hands-on experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Experience with financial consolidation and intercompany accounting
- Previous experience supporting an ERP implementation or transformation project
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work 100% on-site in Downtown Toronto
