- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service in-store
- Take, enter, and process customer orders accurately
- Respond to customer emails and product inquiries
- Recommend appropriate industrial coatings, products, and supplies based on customer needs
- Assist customers with product selection and general technical product questions
- Help maintain inventory and stock products at the front of the store
- Keep the showroom, counter, and customer areas clean, organized, and well stocked
- Work closely with other team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industrial coatings experience is required
- Robust knowledge of industrial coatings, related products, and applications
- Previous customer service and order-processing experience
- Comfortable working with computers, email, and order-entry systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
