Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Dispatcher to join our growing plumbing company. This role is responsible for scheduling technicians, communicating with customers, and supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Schedule and dispatch technicians based on availability and job type
- Prioritize emergency calls and adjust schedules as needed
- Communicate with technicians and customers throughout the day
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and technicians
- Match the right technician to each job
- Follow up on jobs to ensure completion and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer calls, requests, and issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate timelines and keep jobs running smoothly

Administrative Duties

- Book permits and inspections through city websites
- Update technicians on inspection times and approvals
- Process BC One Calls
- Pull permits and manage documentation
- Enter backflow reports through municipal systems




- Answer phones after hours when required

Estimating Duties

- Estimate jobs such as:
- Camera inspections
- Drain repairs
- Hot water tanks (HWTs)
- Pressure reducing valves (PRVs)

Requirements

- 2–4 years dispatching experience in the plumbing industry (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing services is an asset
