Senior Financial Analyst - 12 Month Contract

We are seeking a proactive Financial Analyst to support reporting, analysis, and process-improvement initiatives within a fast-paced corporate finance environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with polished stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

- Produce and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and analysis.
- Improve reporting processes and help transition manual workflows into Power BI.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support planning, performance reporting, and decision-making.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and communicate clear insights to senior leaders.
- Work collaboratively with finance colleagues to strengthen controls, documentation, and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or finance business partnering.




- Solid Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
- Hands-on financial modeling and analysis experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of investment products, such as mutual funds, ETFs, or fund structures.

Nice to Have

- CPA designation or progress toward a designation.
- Experience with Oracle, SharePoint, or other enterprise reporting tools.
- Exposure to complex, high-volume financial environments.
- Self-starter mindset and comfort working through ambiguous problems.

Salary

$84,000 / Year

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
