Mondetta is seeking a Senior Fit Technician to join our Product Development team. We are looking for an experienced fit expert who combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for product excellence. Working closely with Technical Design, Pattern Making, New Development, and global manufacturing partners, you will help bring products to life by ensuring fit, construction, grading, and quality standards are executed consistently across a variety of brands, customers, and product categories.

What You Will Do

As our Senior Fit Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring Mondetta products deliver a consistent, high-quality fit across a variety of brands, customers, and product categories. Working closely with New Development, Technical Design, Pattern Making, and global manufacturing partners, you will provide expert fit guidance throughout the product lifecycle while helping develop solutions that balance fit, function, construction, and customer requirements.

- Lead garment fit evaluations throughout the product development process, ensuring products meet customer requirements,



brand standards, and quality expectations.
- Conduct fit sessions using body forms, live models, and 3D technologies to identify fit, pattern, and construction issues and develop effective solutions.
- Create measurement specifications, grading information, fit sketches, and technical recommendations that support accurate garment development and production.
- Partner with Pattern Makers, Technical Designers, and Product Development teams to develop, review, and refine garment patterns and fit standards.
- Analyze fit concerns and apply advanced pattern and garment construction knowledge to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate directly with customers, internal teams, and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure fit expectations, specifications, and construction requirements are clearly understood and executed.
- Utilize CAD, virtual fitting, and product development systems to evaluate garments, document revisions, and support development efficiency.
- Maintain grading, measurement, and fit databases while ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Support, mentor, and provide guidance to Fit Technicians and Pattern Makers while working collaboratively with department leadership to achieve team objectives.
- Maintain thorough development records and ensure fit consistency across multiple garment categories, customer programs, and production stages.

What You Bring

- Post-secondary education in Fashion Design, Apparel Development, Technical Design, Pattern Making, or a related field.
- Significant experience in fit, technical design, pattern making, garment development, or apparel production.
- Robust understanding of garment construction, pattern development, grading, and fit principles across multiple garment categories.
- Experience conducting fit sessions and evaluating fit, pattern, and construction issues using live models, body forms, and development samples.
- The ability to analyze fit concerns, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions that support product quality and customer requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, overseas vendors, and manufacturing partners.




- Experience creating and maintaining measurement specifications, grading information, fit comments, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with technical systems and software used in apparel development. Experience with Blue Cherry, TukaCAD, Browzwear, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
- A collaborative leadership style and a willingness to mentor, coach, and support less experienced team members.

- Experience working directly with overseas vendors and manufacturing partners to resolve fit, construction, and production challenges.

- A reputation for keeping programs organized, maintaining thorough records, and ensuring consistency from development through bulk production.
- Confidence mentoring Fit Technicians and Pattern Makers while contributing to the growth and success of the broader technical team.
