Contribute to CIHI’s mission in Ottawa as a Senior French Translator/Reviser, bringing your fluency and expertise in both languages to the forefront. Focus on translating and revising complex documents to meet high standards. This role involves translating various texts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to CIHI’s terminology.

You will oversee quality control of translations, mentor less experienced colleagues, and maintain translation memory software. Establish strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, facilitating smooth communication and fostering collaboration in translation projects. Key Responsibilities:

- Translate newsletters, reports, and corporate communications accurately
- Review and ensure the quality of French translations




- Conduct necessary research for translation clarity
- Update and manage bilingual terminology and resources
- Mentor junior translators and provide guidance on standards Requirements:
- Degree in Translation or language-related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in translation and revision work
- Robust knowledge of French spelling, syntax, and grammar
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in translation tools and Microsoft Office Leverage your translation abilities to maintain CIHI’s high standards and support effective management of multilingual documents.
