What You'll Do

- Lead the design process from concept to completion, managing graphic designs from initial brainstorming to final delivery and ensuring projects meet deadlines and exceed expectations
- Craft and oversee artwork production, designing and supervising the creation of high-quality visuals including illustrations, infographics, and marketing materials
- Craft compelling visuals for print materials, emails, websites, and promotional campaigns
- Innovate and optimize design workflows, developing creative solutions to common design challenges, establishing best practices, and optimizing workflows for maximum efficiency
- Safeguard brand consistency, upholding Russell Hendrix's brand identity across all marketing initiatives and ensuring visual consistency across all channels and with vendors
- Bridge the gap between marketing and design by collaborating closely with the marketing team to understand project goals and ensure design deliverables align seamlessly with marketing strategies
- Champion accessibility, ensuring all creative assets comply with current visual accessibility standards
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously researching and learning about industry trends, design tools, and best practices to keep Russell Hendrix's visual identity fresh and relevant




- Collaborate with the Junior Graphic Designer, working closely on projects and campaigns and providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development
- Perform other related duties as required

Where You'll Work This is a hybrid role combining home office work with time at our corporate office.

What You Bring

Education and Experience

- 5+ years of graphic design experience in an in-house brand or marketing environment
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, or similar design tools
- Robust knowledge of graphic design principles including colour theory, composition, and visual communication
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines including WCAG compliance
- Basic video editing skills are considered an asset

Skills and Abilities

- Proven ability to manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
- Strong brand stewardship instincts with a keen eye for consistency and quality across all channels
- Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to work effectively across marketing, vendors, and design colleagues
- Proactive and initiative-driven, consistently researching trends and bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table
- Adaptable and quick to learn new tools, platforms, and best practices
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accessibility compliance in every deliverable
