Insight Global is seeking a Senior Infrastructure, Network & Operations Engineer to support our client following a recent acquisition. This hands-on role will focus on stabilizing, supporting, and modernizing a complex hybrid infrastructure environment while navigating a TSA separation and infrastructure transition. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded infrastructure engineer with experience spanning data centers, networking, servers, storage, disaster recovery, and legacy enterprise environments.

This person will play a key role in operational continuity, knowledge transfer, modernization initiatives, and future cloud adoption efforts.

Responsibilities

- Support TSA separation activities and infrastructure transition initiatives.
- Manage and maintain enterprise data center infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Administer AIX, Unix/Linux, Windows, IBM Power, and VMware environments.
- Support networking technologies including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, routing, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Manage storage, backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot production issues,



perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions.
- Execute infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and changes following established processes.
- Partner with cloud, database, middleware, and security teams on operational and modernization efforts.
- Work with vendors and stakeholders to maintain infrastructure stability.
- Maintain documentation, support knowledge transfer, and assist with migration planning.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, data centers, and hybrid environments.
- Strong administration experience with AIX, Unix/Linux, Windows, IBM Power, and VMware.
- Solid networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience with storage, backups, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, operating systems, networking, and platform services.
- Experience with change management, incident response, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, vendor management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Must be based in Ontario and able to work onsite as needed, especially during the initial engagement.
