Our Markham office is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on a diverse portfolio with an emphasis on commercial, retail, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be a team player, enthusiastic, proactive, hardworking, and capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects. In addition, the successful candidate will be interested in playing a key role in the growth of the firm and help us rise to the challenges of next decades.

Qualifications

Professional Degree in Architecture, architectural science, or architectural technology.

20 plus years of relevant project experience in the commercial/retail and industrial sectors

Knowledge of current Building Codes, standards, building construction, details and building science

Ability to supervise production of several projects simultaneously, while leading and working within a team environment





Comfortable dealing with project stakeholders, from consultants to contractors to AHJ to clients and upper management

Thrive in a high-pace environment and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office

Duties

Coordinate within the project team

Meet with clients to discuss project requirements

Review and approve project shop drawings, meet & coordinate with sub-consultants

Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, provide site design review updates

Conduct contract administration

Perform code reviews

Review working drawings & permit sets and coordinate with sub-consultants as needed

Resolve issues on site related to construction and coordination challenges, answer RFI’s provide additional instruction to site

Prepare occasional design sketches and 3D designs

Liaise with project stakeholders
