Our enterprise client is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer to maintain and support enterprise SCADA and real-time control systems using AVEVA OASyS SCADA in liquids pipeline operations

Join a team supporting critical pipeline infrastructure across Canada and the U.S. This role focuses on enterprise SCADA systems, real-time applications, control room operations, and OT environments supporting safe and reliable pipeline operations. The position contributes to modernization initiatives, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity within a large-scale energy environment.

The role also supports operational and project activities tied to control center reliability and performance.

Must Haves

- 10+ years with AVEVA OASyS SCADA and critical real-time control systems in liquids pipeline operations

- SCADA and OT environments supporting pipeline operations and control room systems

- Development of highly reliable real-time applications for operational safety, reliability, and performance

- Professional Engineer designation with APEGA

Nice to Have

- Programming languages including VB, C#, SQL, or Python

- Display standards and development

- SCADA and measurement protocols

Responsibilities

- Design enterprise SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control of pipeline operations

- Provide operational support for SCADA and control system troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis

- Develop and maintain critical real-time applications supporting operational safety and reliability





- Execute and govern system changes through Management of Change (MOC) processes aligned to Control Room Management (CRM) requirements

- Support regulatory compliance activities including inspections, audits, documentation, and remediation efforts

- Lead system lifecycle management and modernization initiatives for SCADA and pipeline control systems

- Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and OT cybersecurity activities for pipeline control systems
